Some of the best pictures are not staged and the shapes just fall into place. These flowers were in a well manicured garden and had the most vibrant hue of purple.
It was a cooler summer evening night with the windows open and we wanted to try out a new recipe. It consisted of golden beets, kale, salmon and a honey mustard dressing to tie it all together. This location had a nice sense of depth that the camera wanted to frame vertically. It allowed the spiral topiary to draw the viewer in, as the winding walkway snakes the eye to the hedged archway.
